Golf Digest named the Nike Slingshot golf clubs irons of the year. These award winning clubs have been combined to create a set with #3, #4, #5 hybrids and irons #6 to pitching wedge. List price is $700 for a set with steel shafts and $800 with graphite shafts.

A set of Slingshot 4 D irons cost about $400 with graphite shafts. These irons have added changes to four critical areas to increase performance.



1. The shape of the head was changed to enhance control and accuracy.
2. The variable sole width was changed to optimize launch angle and workability.
3. Decreased the offset in irons for precision.
4. Slingback was put strategically on each club to achieve desired ball flight.
