Comfortable and
lightweight Golf Shoes

Much progress has been made to make golf shoes comfortable, lightweight and waterproof. If you play a lot of golf, you will get caught sometimes in a rain shower. Then waterproof shoes will keep your feet dry. You find great savings at:

It will be worth to invest in waterproof shoes. The better type shoes now carry a one or two year waterproof warranty. If you only play occasionally, a waterproof shoe might not be necessary. If you play regularly, waterproof shoes will provide comfort and possibly better scoring.

Another feature to look for in shoes is the weight of the shoe, especially if you walk playing golf. Many of the top line models are lightweight and comfortable. Many companies now use EVA rubber outsoles instead of leather.

The traditional steel spikes have been replaced with lite spikes. For example, FootJoy uses cleats by SoftSpike to make the shoes lighter. The soft spikes still provide excellent stability while walking or taking swings.

These soft spikes are also much more comfortable, when walking on dry dirt paths. They are also generally considered to cause less damage to greens than the traditional steel spikes. Many of the golf courses now require soft spikes.
