Golf School Vacation should match your Level of Ability
Why attend a golf school vacation? The goal for joining a golf school is to learn to play golf and become a better player.
Golf schools have become popular and can now be found in almost every state. When selecting a golf school, check out the following:
- Is the school right for your level of ability? Most schools accept all skill levels. You should be grouped with students of similar skill levels. This will help you learn from
observing other students.
- How old is the school? How many students have completed the programs?
- What is the normal class size and what is the student to teacher ratio? The ratio should not be more than 4 to 1, but 2 to 1 would be ideal.
- What are the qualifications of the staff and especially of the coaches?
- What is the daily routine? How much time is scheduled for instruction and playing time? Are tournaments organized?
- What facilities are available to practice and learn? Are shots practiced from sand traps, downhill and uphill?
- What training aids are used? Is video analysis equipment, swing learning aids and swing measurement available?
- What does the tuition cover? Golf schools are not cheap. Does the school program cover lodging, meals, video analysis in addition to instruction?
