The right Golf Putter can improve your Game
Selecting the right golf putter can make a big difference in improving the game. Over 40% of the
average player's strokes are putts, which indicates how important putting is. It is obvious to find
a putter that one likes.
There are various styles of blade and
mallet style putters to choose from. You need to consider the alignment and touch of the putter.
Decide on the head design and then determine what alignment is best for you. Try out several putters and
choose one that feels good, when you hit the golf ball.
Make sure that the putter's length is right for you. The most popular lengths are 34 and 35 inches.
Some players, especially older golfers, are using a long putter. They are 50 inches long
and should be used with a split grip.
When using a long putter, the right hand is much higher than the left, for a right handed player.
It is very difficult to putt consistently with a long putter.
There are many different putters around, some of which have become very complex and are more difficult
to manufacture. This is reflected in the price which can range from $25 to $500.
