Golf Instruction Schools

Golf instruction schools are not golf vacations. Most of your time will be spend on practicing. Therefore, it is important to set a clear objective of what you want to accomplish at the school. Do you want to improve your game in general or do want to concentrate on one or several specific skills? Make a list of your goals.

Most schools will look at your complete game. They will analyze your short game, putting, driving, sand play and overall course management. Your swing will be analyzed on video.

Video analysis is a good way to show the students what is wrong with their swing. Often this will result that students might have to acquire new clubs after they develop a better swing.

Some schools concentrate on maximizing your scoring opportunities. They teach course management, club selection and strategies to lower your golf score.

Others will focus on improving the student's strength. They set up goals and practice routines according to the student's ability, temperament and personality.

Instruction has changed from mostly practicing on the golf practice range to providing video analysis and often computer swing analysis.
