Choose from Golf Bags
that fit your Style

Golf bags are generally classified as carry, carry stand or cart. This should help you to decide what bag is best for you.

If you are an occasional golfer and you carry your own bag, you probably want a small, lightweight bag.

The cart or cart carry bag will be larger and weigh more than a carry bag. A cart model usually offers more storage pockets.

One feature that is popular with the carry bag is the fold out stand. It keeps the bag off the the ground, which is especially important on wet days.

Another feature to look for is the snap on rain hood, which will be useful on rainy days.

If you carry the bag and play a lot of golf, there are straps available to make carrying the bag easier. Two piece straps attach to the bottom and top rings of your golf bag. Basically, this allows you to distribute weight over both shoulders.

A more advanced carrying is provided with the Lumbar belt. In addition to the two straps over your shoulder, a belt is put around your waist. The bag is positioned behind your back and puts most of the weight on your hips and legs. This makes it easier to carry. The disadvantage is that it takes it little more effort to put the belt around your waist.

If you don't want to carry your bag, you can either use a pull cart or a caddie. Most golf courses now only provide pull carts or golf carts.

The average price for bags is about $120-350.

For golfers that travel and want to play golf, a good travel cover would be a good investment. It will protect the clubs. Price is about $100-120.
